Yoshimura's camshafts are designed by our own know-how of cam profile.
The design of the profile begins with the knowledge of the standard engine specifications.
The profile characteristics of Yoshimura camshafts are determined based on the assumed engine speed and characteristics to be used.The next step is to express the determined profile characteristics in numerical values.
From form to number......Yoshimura's years of expertise have led to a unique profile.
A prototype camshaft with the profile created in this way is installed in the engine and checked to see if it actually has the characteristics as expected.If the expected characteristics are not obtained, the design is redone from the beginning.
Yoshimura's original cam profile is derived after the repetition of this series of work.

Yoshimura manages the entire production process, including centering.
The camshafts are machined from scratch in-house to reproduce the profile.
Heating to the product causes a distortion of camshaft, or loss of its strength. To prevent such results, cam lobes are not molded by heating.In order to make the camshaft hard enough for the engine, the best heat treatment is selected from various methods and applied.
