2003 model year (PC37 first semester) mounted on Replacement is possible if you have a radio pliers1 pc with a slender head. I replaced the VTR250 OEM footpeg with this footpeg because it rubs on the circuit even after removing the knee slider. It was a little tricky to crimp the split pin that came with the footpeg, but I was able to do it with only 1 pc of radio pliers. The result is a shorter width than the OEM footpeg, which solves the ground scrape problem, and the Boots bite better and look more pleasing to the eye. The handlebar is also a little off-set backwards on the VTR250.
